Bringing home a new bunny can be an exciting experience, however, we would like everyone to know our policy to ensure we are all on the same page :)

🐇 General Policy
• No rabbit will leave our care under 8 weeks of age.
This ensures proper development and health before going to their new home.
• We are a closed rabbitry.
For the safety of our rabbits and children, we do not allow visitors. We are happy to send photos and videos of any bunny you’re interested in.
• We reserve the right to refuse service or cancel a sale at any time, for any reason.
If this occurs on our end, any deposit will be refunded.

💰 Deposits & Holding Policy
• A non-refundable deposit is required to hold a rabbit:
• $50 for standard breeds
• $100 for Angoras
• NO REFUNDS. Deposits are non-refundable under all circumstances — including cancellations, no-shows, or changes of mind.
• Rabbits are sold on a first-come, first-served basis. No bunny is held without a deposit.

🐾 Pickup Policy
• Pickup times are scheduled in advance.
If you are more than 15 minutes late without notice, your appointment may be canceled.
• If we do not hear from you within 24 hours of a missed pickup, your deposit is forfeited and the rabbit will be relisted for sale.

🩺 Health & Responsibility
• All rabbits leave SoCal Thumpers healthy to the best of our knowledge.
• Our bunnies are not vaccinated or spayed/neutered.
Please consult an exotic animal veterinarian for further health care, including vaccinations and sterilization.
• Once the rabbit is in your care, you are fully responsible for its well-being. We provide a Rabbit Care Sheet — please follow it closely.
• If your bunny becomes seriously ill or dies within 48 hours, and our care instructions were followed, we will offer a one-time replacement.
• If care instructions were not followed, or if a second bunny in your care passes or becomes ill, no replacement will be provided.

🏡 Bunny Boarding Services
Going out of town? We offer boarding for rabbits previously purchased from us.
• Deposit to book: $50
• Boarding rate: $10 per day
• You must provide your bunny’s regular food to avoid digestive issues.
• Spots are limited and must be reserved in advance. Bringing familiar items like a blanket or toy is encouraged to help your bunny feel comfortable.

📸 Photos & Communication
• We do not allow visitors to the rabbitry, but we’re happy to send photos and videos of available bunnies.
• If you purchase through our website, we will reach out via phone call to confirm.
• If you purchase through Instagram, please keep communication on Instagram or text only.

By placing a deposit or purchasing a rabbit from SoCal Thumpers, you agree to all terms listed above. These policies are in place to protect both our animals and customers and ensure a positive experience.
